I thought hard about who I wanted to feature first as I started back on this journey and I decided on my life coach because without her this wouldn’t be possible…

Meet the Self Love Coach Maria Brito 💕

I was fortunate to meet Maria for the first time February 11th at her self love Women’s Circle at the . It was just 2 weeks after losing my husband and to say I felt lost was an understatement. I remember the first time I got to see Maria face to face was as she took a private moment with each woman right before the session began.

As I stood facing her in the dimly lit studio, her smile lit up the room as brightly as her soul and as she embraced me, she said Ashley I’m so glad you are here. I remember apologizing for the immediate tears that began to stream down my face and as I began wiping them away she gently grabbed my hand and said let them flow. That moment was the beginning of her walking through one of the hardest moments of my life at my side. She wasn’t afraid of my grief or my feelings but ushered them to the surface to help me begin the process of healing.

The next day I signed up for her coaching series No Regrets, where almost 60 women from around the world joined together under Maria’s amazing leadership and teaching.

For 5 weeks she helped us see that as women we carry so many wounds that are attached to blame, shame and so much regret. Her program was about healing all that so that you can embrace the true radiance of your divine being.

Allow me to introduce myself….

My name is Ashley Suzette and for the last 19 years I have been a wife and a mother, one who has failed at life more times than I can count but I keep getting back up each time I do.

I started the venture of Boujee on a Budget in 2021 and my goal was to help women feel their best on the inside and outside. I’ve lived in Los Angeles and New York City and after moving back here I’ve learned that you don’t have to be on Rodeo Drive or in Manhattan to find amazing products, clothing or service providers because they exist right here in the south. So my goal has always been to help showcase amazing local businesses. And please know that I am just an ordinary person, whose wasted more money on things that didn’t work than I’d like to admit. I am someone who is by no means an influencer or paid for any reviews, so anything I post will be my true opinion. I’m tired of seeing women swindled out of their hard earned money just so an influencer can deepen their wallet.

My heart lead me to take a step back the beginning of 2023 and to focus more time on my family. I will forever be grateful for that because I lost my husband the beginning of 2024, so I’m glad that with all that extra quality time, our last year was our best year.

But now I want to continue my mission to help curate a place with honest reviews and recommendations so you know trustworthy places to do business with. My new website www.shopboujeeonabudget.com will be launching soon so stay tuned for updates.
