Monday Monday Monday! 🦦 ❣️Mandala Monday that is. Heather here, I’ve been working full time since I was 14 years old and in retail, starting on the Embarcadero at 18 years old. Kinda seems like yesterday, but really it’s been decades. I always been a hard worker! Got that from my Ma! “Thanks Ma” Recently I’ve been reflecting on all of the time and energy I spend helping others and being nice and courteous and helpful always with a smile. Just so yall know, I’m ready for my IDGAF bitch era, so sorry if I’m not always happy and don’t give the best customer service. So sick of jerks and thieves and dealing with the fricken public restroom. I’ve removed myself from weekends and working this weekend I’m reminded why. Luckily it’s usually just 1 bad apple out of a day full of lovely visitors and locals alike. A Huge thank you to the Smoobiez for working weekends, and to all of you who come in and brighten my day. I’m super grateful to continue stocking all the goods and surviving in Morro Bay. Sure do love it here. 😅😬 Service industry peeps ! Do you feel me?

Happy Earth Day 🌎

It’s wild to think everything we have comes from the Earth! Every material, every piece, every part of our lives. We’re not separate from it. We are it. Grateful for this home we all share 🌿 Also:
Earth Day began in 1970, sparked by growing concerns about pollution and environmental damage. U.S. Senator Ga***rd Nelson organized a nationwide “teach-in” on April 22, inspiring about 20 million Americans to take to the streets, parks, and campuses.

That momentum led to major environmental protections, including the creation of the Environmental Protection Agency and laws like the Clean Air Act and Clean Water Act.

Spotted a California Thrasher through the brush, hawks circling overhead, and the kind of wild stillness that reminds you to slow down. The view at the top stretches to Morro Rock and beyond. Rolling coastline, endless blue, and that feeling of being exactly where you’re meant to be. Although today I’m on the couch feeling sorry for myself. A little reminiscing helps. Hope you like it.
