We officially ran out of room… so we built up. 🪜🫙🌿

Our herb wall has expanded all the way to the ceiling, creating space for even more herbs, teas, spices, flowers, mushroom powders, superfoods, and botanical ingredients.

What started as a small apothecary herb wall has grown into a collection of plants from around the world alongside many of the herbs we reach for every day.

Whether you’re blending tea, crafting herbal remedies, exploring new flavors, or simply curious about the plant world, there’s always something new to discover.

Kava Night #1 was a whole vibe!! 🙌🥹❤️🥳

Last night was SO much fun. 🤩 The energy in the space was absolutely buzzing, good conversations, beautiful people, laughter, connection, and so many shared shells! Watching everyone settle in, meet new people, and experience kava together was honestly magical!

I keep having little moments where I’m like… wow, I actually did this 🥹 Creating a sober space like this for the community has been such a dream of mine, and seeing it come to life in Morro Bay feels surreal in the best way.

I’m feeling incredibly grateful, inspired, proud, excited… all the things. This is just the beginning, and I seriously cannot wait to watch this grow week by week.

Our Kava Nights officially start tomorrow at Lumin Earth Apothecary and I genuinely can’t wait for everyone to experience these drinks, the lounge, the energy, the connection, all of it.

This is our Passion Fire Kava Elixir… a tropical, fiery blend of passionfruit, blood orange, ginger, coconut, kava, and a touch of magic (& cayenne 🌶️)✨

Every drink is made fresh behind the bar, garnished by hand, and crafted to feel like an experience, not just a beverage.

These three photos really capture what kava feels like in the body for me, and the kind of medicine it’s been in my life. 🌈🌟😊

It’s supported me through layers of tension and anxiety, and it’s been a steady companion in my sobriety journey. It’s also shown me that we can gather without alcohol and that it’s even more joyful, playful and connected, and be truly present in it all.

What I’ve come to love most is how kava creates space for that kind of communion…laughing with friends, being a little goofy, slowing down enough to actually feel each other.

Working with this plant has really shown me how needed this is in community, and it’s what inspired me to bring it to Morro Bay. I’m so excited to open the 🧚🏼Lumin Earth Kava Bar on May 8th 5:00-7:00pm🧚🏼 and to share this medicine with you all held in a space of connection, ease, and presence. ❤️

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT 🎊🙌🎉

Lumin Earth Apothecary is EXPANDING!

What started as a crystal shop, herbal apothecary, and tea bar is now growing into something even more alive… a kava bar and evening extension of our space!! 💃🏻🎉

We’re opening up nights for something completely different here in Morro Bay: sober connection, intentional gathering, botanical drinks, and a place to actually slow down and be with each other! 🌌🫶🏻🌙

This is the next evolution of what we’ve been building.

‼️Starting Friday May 8th, ‼️we’ll be open Fridays + Saturdays with evening hours until 7pm. (Will extend later in the future 🤭)

And honestly… this is just the beginning. We’re already dreaming about community nights, local musicians, themed gatherings, and everything this space can grow into with all of you in it. 🕯️🥰
