Today, the 8th of May will be the last day for All A's Small Engine Repair as I close up shop. I have accepted a new job that will not give me the time I would need to try and keep this going. It was a tough decision but ultimately came down to providing health care and benefits for my family.
I truly enjoyed meeting all my customers and getting the chance to keep their equipment running for them.
I wish I knew of someone that I personally know that I could entrust to giving a referral for but I do not.

This is what can happen if you don't inspect under the engine air shroud for debris buildup or mouse nests. This could have been worse if it had broken the piston but luckily it didn't. Clean up and install a new head and will be back going again.

Be ready for spring mowing and make sure to check under the air shroud of the engine.
This type of debris will cause major engine damage if not removed with over heating of the engine.
This is a standard process we perform with a full service special.

Take a look at your blades and make sure they don't look like these.
Bent and unbalanced blades with lead to bearing failures and deck vibration.

Please remember, these are SNOW blowers and NOT SLUSH blowers. Take your time and let your machine do the work for you. When it starts to bog down, slow down a little and let it work.
This was a very wet snow; it is not going to throw it like a normal snow.
Also be VERY careful if it gets plug up, make sure and SHUT OFF your machine before de-clogging it!!!

Do you know that mulching and mowing up your "DRY" leaves is a great way to clean the underside of your deck? Well now you do!!

But beware, if your deck is caked with hard dried-up grass, it might not clean as well.

Make sure and clean the top and bottom of your mower deck before storing it for winter. That dried on grass or wet material with rust your deck out in time.
