As some of you know, I am reopening Cotton Paw Boutique and will no longer be running Harper & Hymn.

I still have journals & bookmarks & a couple cross earrings at The Pink Chair Mercantile in Morganton, NC.

EVERYTHING in the Harper & Hymn bin there is only $2 each!

• Everything is $5 each, or 2 for $8! These can be mix-matched as well!
• Round bookmarks are 3 for $5 like normal! Or 6 for $8!
• Buy 2 or more journals and get a FREE pen!
• I have limited custom journals and bookmarks! All custom orders come with a free bookmark!

This morning when I went to feed Mabel (my sourdough starter), I realized a little too late that I needed a bigger jar.

I pulled out a bigger jar from the cabinet, washed it out, and started to transfer my dough PLUS my new flour and fresh water.

Some started to fall on the counter, and I thought ‘Oh my! I didn’t want this mess, but I gotta keep going now!’

Once I got Mabel fed and situated, I started cleaning the counter, and now it looks like that mess didn’t even happen!

Life right now may look messy.
You may not want the mess that you’re in.
But God can clean up your mess if you lay it at His feet and trust Him.
—You see this messy counter right now, but God can see what it looks like after I clean it.
Keep going. Trust Him.

If my counter was never messy, I wouldn’t appreciate the clean.

Life is a lot like feeding a sourdough starter. 🫙
