It’s so hot even these guys are finding a cooler place to be!!! We have paused for a bit, these machines put out A LOT of heat. Yesterday done a few jolly ranchers and got a notice from the machine- warm room temperature. So that’s my warning to just wait til it cools down a bit. But we are still around, we might be sitting in our underwear in from of the fan but we are still here!!

What did we learn…..
1. If you think fruit dries fast- you’re wrong ( you meaning me 😀🤔)
2. Strawberries are one of the prettiest freeze dried fruits yet!!!
3. Grapes will do a Julia Roberts escargot move if you’re not careful, while getting off the tray.
4. Broccoli is very brittle when freeze dried.
5. This is NOT the last time I’ll be doing fruit!!! ♥️

In the freeze drying world there are no happy little mistakes, just gooey messes….hopefully this isn’t one of those.

I hear ya!!! Gonna go shopping today for all the fruits, ok maybe not all of them 😁. And a few things for some granola bars… be patient, you know the banana cheese cake flopped 🤦‍♀️. So what kinds of fruits do think I should try?
