Hey folks beware.
My pup got into something on bishops beach. She started digging at something and we called her back, no harm no foul finished out walk.
A few hour later, she couldn't close her mouth and was drooling a bit. We looked for shell or wood in her mouth. That night she was woozy. No one could get her in at the vets from here to Kenai.
I finally put all her info in chat gpt and chat suggested she may have gotten in to the shellfish poisoning in Kachamak bay.
All the symptoms matched. Time frame matched
fortunately she is a bigger dog. She had little exposure and she was survived. She is drinking water now. And slowly her mouth is getting better

Termination dust has settled on the mountain behind us. Winter is right around the corner. And we are closed for the 2025 season. We hope to reopen in late May 2026. Thank you for your patronage in 2025.

This is the last weekend the shop will be open this season. We still have a huge variety of gifts available, lots of autumn and Christmas decorations you might need, many books to be enjoyed, and FUDGE! Some are buying fudge to get them through the long winter. Some are buying fudge to freeze now and bring out at Christmas. Some are buying fudge to freeze now and give away as Christmas presents. Some are buying fudge to eat NOW. Hope to see you.

For the month of September, we will be open on Fridays and Saturdays (9 am to 8 pm) and Sundays (12:30 pm to 8 pm). We will be closed Mon-Thurs. We hope to see you this weekend.

The sun is shining, the flowers are blooming, and we are open for the 2025 season. We have made lots of fudge and roasted our moose nuts. We have new items for sale in our shop: walking sticks crafted by Rodney using wood from our land, winter hats with our logo, and long-sleeve t-shirts with a new design. And we have replenished the supply of game boards, blankets, potholders, paintings, and more. Come on in.

We made a limited amount of FUDGE, available in gift packs, for Saturday's Valentine's Market at the Moose Pass Public Library. Saturday, Feb 8, 10-5. We made peanut butter, maple walnut, butter pecan, strawberry, cheesecake, Oreo, and birthday cake. Please remember to bring cash as we cannot take cards at this event. Hope to see you Saturday.

This Saturday, February 8, from 10 am to 5 pm, we'll be at the Moose Pass Public Library/Community Building for the Valentine's Market. We'll have some plush moose stuffies and I Love You Best Little Moose by Rachael Sanger for sale at our table. Plus, paintings, cocoa mugs, earrings, and FUDGE! Hope to see you Saturday.
