A California man is accused of messaging and paying a 10-year-old Indiana boy in Roblox's in-game currency for explicit material.
Authorities said the child had created videos on several platforms that displayed sexual behavior that "appeared to be advanced for his age."
The boy reportedly told investigators he was aware "predators" were on various platforms, said he was paid in "Robux" by individuals who would detail what they wanted him to do, and added that some threatened to release his "nudes" if he did not do as they asked.
The boy told investigators that he blocked some of the users and said he didn't believe the users would follow through with their threats.
