Announcement regarding our hours this upcoming week! 8/26-8/30

Carl and I will be attending DFW Fiber Fest this year, so our dear friend Peggy will be watching the shop Thursday through Saturday while we’re away.

Carl and I will be in the shop Wednesday 8/26 with normal hours from 11-7 and again on Sunday 8/30 from 12-4.

Little Tabby will be open Thursday- Saturday, with reduced hours from 1-5pm.

If you have not met Peggy, she is lovely and extremely helpful so stop by and say hi to her if you’re able!
Unfortunately, this does mean that there will be no Sit n Stitch this Thursday 8/27.

Mark your calendars, everyone! Dr. Jennifer Daley is coming BACK to Little Tabby Yarn. Join us Sunday, November 22nd for a day jam packed with knitting fun in these greatly informational workshops!

is a professional knitwear designer and textile historian and we are very excited to have her back at Little Tabby!

There will be three different workshops that can be signed up for individually or register for all three and save $25.

Icelandic Lopi Knitting Workshop: This workshop will include three balls of Lettlopi yarn and a Knitting Jenny pattern of your choice. If you took this class in February, I have exciting news! In February, there were only hat patterns available, but this fall there will be both jumper and mitten patterns available as well!

Irish Aran Islands Cable Knitting Workshop: This workshop will include two skeins of Blue Sky Fibers Woolstok Worsted yarn and a Knitting Jenny pattern of your choice.

Fair Isle Knitting Design Workshop: As this is a design workshop, the work will be done on paper and there will not be any knitting, a great end to the day! Included in this class is Dr. Daley’s latest publication “Fair Isle Knitting Design Workbook: Create Original Colorwork Accessories in Shetland Wool.”

All skill levels are welcome in these classes, so join us for a memorable day of learning new techniques and TONS of knitting history!!

Just wanted to share a quick update that the Little Tabby Colorway has sold! 30 skeins gone in less than 24 hours!

It was one year ago today that Little Tabby Yarn opened its doors! It’s hard to believe that it has already been that long, as it seems like just yesterday we were installing cabinets and running around the metro to pick up facebook marketplace finds!
I know we have said this manytimes, but we cannot begin to express just how grateful we are to everyone who has shopped at Little Tabby and for the large community we have built! Looking back at old photos really shows how much we have been able to grow.

We cannot wait to see what the next year will bring.

The latest Chiaogoo restock has arrived at Little Tabby Yarn! And with it are a few new things! We now have the complete 5” stainless steel interchangeable set (2-15) as well as the 5” Mini set (000-1.5)! There are also DPN sock sets in both stainless steel and bamboo.
