Hi! My name is Mary and I am a USAF veteran and California native who made Oklahoma my new home six years ago. This sweet boy is my favorite human alive (my son)! One summer day in 2022, he was scrolling through YouTube and came across a video on freeze-dried candy. Both of us were mesmerized and thought, that would be fun to make! We started thinking that maybe we could even create a freeze-dried snack business while having fun together. Soo... I went for it. I bought a freeze drier, found a business mentor, and opened Mio My Munchies in November of 2022. (There's a bit more to it, but those are the basics 😉).

Not only does owning this business bring me joy, but I get to experience it alongside my son who LOVES being a part of it. He is my partner in crime and not only helps me with creating these crunchy, tasty treats, but I get to teach him at a young age how to run a small business. Win-win!
