Dear friends, I hope you all are well. While I have been quite vocal on my personal account this week, I’ve mostly been silent here. It didn’t feel right to carry on as if things were “normal”— because we are in the middle of a shift, a necessary shift. I have spent the week listening, learning, and praying about where to go from here. I’ve been thinking, should my business intersect with with current events? My answer: of course it should. It would be impossible for me to separate the two.
I’ve been researching how to help, not just with posts and words, but financially with my business. I’ve decided that for the upcoming Father’s Day orders, I will be giving 20% of every order to the Equal Justice Initiative (EJI) in Montgomery. The EJI works with communities that have been marginalized by poverty, and they are committed to changing the narrative about race in America through criminal justice reform, public education resources, and their museum and memorial. Please visit EJI.org to learn more about their mission.
The order options this time around are quite simple: a box of 6 or a box of 12 with the following flavors: turtle, samoa, and peanut butter cup. (Yes, they are amazing as they sound). 😋 Place your order through the pinned post at the top of the page, and thank you all for your support!
