A lovely morning !

I was on Ebay this morning, looking for older pueblo pottery. So much of my time was wasted because of mislabeled listings. The terms "vintage" and "antique" are often used interchangeably, but they have distinct meanings. Vintage items can sometimes be newer than what is traditionally considered vintage, as the definition seems to vary by seller.
Antique is something that is 100 or more years old.
Vintage is an item 30 to 99 years old.
Keep this in mind when shopping. A used item is NOT necessarily a vintage item and something worn and aged looking is NOT always antique.

Ahh..... July. The beginning of the heat and tourism slows because of it. That's why it's a great time to visit Monticello. Fewer crowds!! Start early and beat the heat. We're also the crossroads of highways 191 and 491, making Moab and Mesa Verde an hour away and at least 12 degrees cooler. Also the lodging is considerably cheaper than surrounding areas. So, if you're in the area, stop in and mention this post for 15% off your purchase!
Ciao
