It truly goes without saying that I was completely and pleasantly surprised to receive the Rising Star Award. There has been so much work, stress, sacrifice, and yes—many tears—poured into this business. This hasn’t always been easy. But if you’ve ever walked through my shop doors, you know that everything I do is driven by hard work, heart, and faith.
I come from a family that has been self-employed for more than 30 years. About 15 years ago, I had a simple idea—I wanted an embroidery machine. I couldn’t afford one on my own, so I went to my dad. He told me, “If you think you can make money with it, I’ll help you get it.” He bought my first machine, and even though it sounds silly, I had to sign a contract promising I’d pay him back. That promise meant everything to me, and I paid it off quickly.
What started as monogrammed hair bows has grown into my full-time career—something I once only dreamed of.
I truly believe none of this would be possible without my faith in God, my determination, my dad’s belief in me, and most of all, my family, who has stood by me through every long night, every doubt, and every win.
To anyone who took the time to nominate me or vote for me, thank you. You have no idea how much that encouragement means to me.
And to every single person who has trusted me with their embroidery, sublimation, and DTF work—thank you for believing in me, for supporting my small business, and for being part of this journey. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
