MBK 2025 Derby was a success. Great weather, good people, good food. Winner was James Jones with a 39.15lb Halibut. 2nd was a younger kid with a 22.31lb hali. 3rd was Percival Kong with a 18.03lb hali.

CDFW has announced a derby style season for King Salmon this year. The first open weekend will be June 7th and 8th. Our Moss Landing shop is located in the North Harbor where most boats will be launching from. Due to this, parking at the shop will be extrememly limited. We will be calling folks with reservations for that weekend over the next week with options. We highly recommend booking tours in Monterey on the 7th and 8th to avoid any parking snaffus and for easier access to the water. Please feel free to give us a call if you have any questions 🦦

We are stoked to be running Pajaro River Fundraiser Paddle on Saturday, April 5th to support the Watsonville Wetlands Watch. This is a unique opportunity to paddle in a different setting than we usually offer and to support an awesome local organization. Watsonville Wetlands Watch has been advocating for local wetlands through connecting with and educating the community since the early 90’s. This guided group trip launches and returns to the Pajaro River Picnic Area in Watsonville. The tour is great for new kayakers on a stretch of the lower Pajaro River that is not widely accessible.
Reservations are $100 per person; we have a limited number of seats still available. Give us a call at (831) 373-5357 to book.
