The Kids’ Room Tote Project is an initiative to support our community. We’ll be working with illustrators of children’s books to release limited-run tote bags, and our profits will be donated to local charities.

For this year’s run, we’ve partnered up with Bee Johnson (Bee Johnson Illustration) who has chosen to support Reach Out and Read Reach Out and Read, which “gives young children a foundation for success by incorporating books into pediatric care and encourages families to read together.”

We have a small and large size option for the totes at both of our store locations, so come get them while they’re still here! Thank you again to Bee for working with us and giving us such a beautiful design for this year’s project 🖍️📚⭐️

Fans of Lessons in Chemistry, rejoice! Bonnie Garmus has a new book, “Peck & Peck,” and she’s launching it right here in Montclair on Wednesday, Oct 14!

In this irresistible, delightful, and tender literary novel set in the 1980s publishing world, a young man’s life is turned upside down when he is hired by the most prestigious, secretive, and dysfunctional poetry journal in the world: Peck & Peck.

Every year we are blown away by how many families and local businesses participate in Where’s Waldo at Watchung Plaza! We have so much fun and can’t wait to do it again July 1st 2027 😯.
