Greetings Black Library fans! Our book club here at the Warhammer Store and Cafe: Los Angeles is once again gearing up to delve into the rich trove of Warhammer lore. In a slight change of plans from our previous selection, we will be delaying our discussion of Dan Abnett's HIVE for the time being and jumping into perhaps one of the most significant events in recent Warhammer 40,000 lore, Robert Rath's THE FALL OF CADIA. Join us as we get to know such iconic characters as Lord Castellan Creed and Belisarius Cawl as they stand in defiance against Abaddon the Despoiler and the combined might of Chaos.
We will be holding meetings here at the shop every Thursday at 6 pm. Our first meeting will be this coming Thursday the 16th of July where will discuss Phase One, chapter one through the end of Phase Two, chapter three. We will be posting further updates on our progress, reading targets, and discussions here as we read, so if you cannot make it in one week you can stay up to date and join us for the next meeting!
