The Monroe Comic Con The Monroe Comic Con is a locally owned and promoted convention that celebrates everything pop culture has to offer.

Gary and Dawn Pillette are proud to be able to keep admission costs to some of the lowest in the midwest for the size of con they deliver. The Monroe Comic Con brings in several national comic book and media guests each year as well as deliver 100 plus vending and artist alley booths to shop from.

The Monroe Comic Con is excited to announce artist Jeff Sornig as an artist alley pro guest at the 14th Annual Monroe Comic Con September 11&12, 2026 at the FMB Expo Center in Monroe Michigan!

Jeff is a Michigan native, U.S. Marine Corps Veteran and prides himself as an artist that creates 100% hand-drawn artwork (whether pencils or pixels).

He grew up in the golden Gen X era of Saturday Morning TV cartoons and newspaper comic strips which have heavily influenced his passion for art & animation. Jeff has previously worked in various production roles at Nick Animation & created professional artwork for ONI Press Comics as well as Cryptozoic Entertainment.

The Monroe Comic Con is excited to announce artist Mark Bloodworth as an artist alley pro guest at the 14th Annual Monroe Comic Con September 11&12, 2026 at the FMB Expo Center in Monroe Michigan!

Mark is a comic book creator and storyteller whose career began with NIGHTSTREETS and DEADWORLD both originally published during the B&W explosion of the mid 1980s by ARROW COMICS and CALIBER COMICS.

He has contributed artwork for CALIBER PRESENTS, CLIVE BARKER'S HELLRAISER, CHEERLEADERS FROM HELL, NEGATIVE BURN, THE ILLUSTRATED JACK THE RIPPER, DEADWORLD: THE LAST SIESTA, and stories for GORE SHRIEK: RESURRECTUS amongst other illustrative work during the past few years.

After a decade hiatus, Mark has returned to the storytelling medium he loves with new self-published material: BOG BEAST (shallows & bog) and MEDUSA'S MIRROR (a collection of horror comic short stories).
