No business ever plans on writing a post like this, and none enjoy doing it. Sadly, this Friday (8/29) will be the last day that Rainbow Confections is open as a brick-and-mortar business. BUT, this is not the end of Rainbow! We look forward to being able to continue to serve your favorite popcorn, fudge, and remaining inventory soon via 's Family CoffeeHaus & Odditeas, and we have plans to still be around for your favorite local festivals and concerts on the square in the future. As a last hurrah, please share your favorite memory of Rainbow Confections below, and show your comment in store for 50% off your purchase.

We hoped to be able to give more time between this announcement and our last day of business, but like many small businesses we have felt the effects of the current economy. Additionally, many of our best-selling goods are imported and have been impacted by tariffs. Even if we were to remain in business, many of your favorite treats would be either unavailable or too expensive to consider carrying. For these reasons, coupled with increasing operating expenses, staying open as a brick-and-mortar store is simply not possible.

We also want to take this opportunity to lift up the other fabulous small businesses in Downtown Monroe and encourage everyone to shop local. We'd also like to give special thanks to Main Street Monroe, Inc. for all they do to support our community. Most importantly, we want to thank you as our customers. Although owning a business is a bumpy road, the joy of being able to bring sweet treats to you and your loved ones for 13 sweet years can't be matched. Please know that you are appreciated, and that everyone will always be welcome under the rainbow. 🌈❤️✌️

🌈 soo what exactly IS our surprise candy bag?! 🤔
🍭 It's a trick - or - treat style grab bag of sweets! 🍫 some chocolates, chewy fruity, perhaps a sucker, bubblegum, or something a little silly 🍬 for example, you might find inside the black kitty cat bag a dark chocolate Kit Kat 🙀 but you will never find any bug suckers 😜
They're also a perfect way for us to be creative and embody any summer theme that we can doodle up! 👻 visit Summer Halloween downtown Monroe 🎃

& We have a cold drink fridge, but if you're looking for something frozen, head over to Payne's Family CoffeeHaus & Odditeas where they are experimenting with a new slushy machine! Today there was Frozen Apple Cider, Cola, and a coffee foam 😋 they are open until 6pm today, and 630a-8p most other days! (We are both closed Tuesdays) ✌️
