Not resin related, but I wanted to share a recent project! I had covered a coffee table with cement last year and I (still!) absolutely love it! I got a new sofa a couple weeks ago and wanted to update my very old coffee & end tables and decided to do cement again since they are in different rooms. I used a different cement (same manufacturer, different formula) and it was a lot harder to work with. You will notice more tool marks in these tables, but I actually don’t mind them. The lines are smooth, so you don’t feel them and I kinda like the organic design it made. This refresh totally lightened/brightened up my living room and I love it! 😊

These are SO cool! Still working on black & white cups 😏 I initially planned to put a clear coat of resin to smooth the lines out, but I actually really like the textured feel of the lines!

Well, I am not sure my 3rd attempt is much better than the 2nd. 🤷🏻‍♀️I did do a better job of getting more sand on the mug, so that’s a win! I’m pretty sure I am going to redo these, too, so if you love them, speak up soon before they get stripped! Follow along to see how many tries it takes me to get this design right!

🤦🏻‍♀️ I’m not too upset because this is how I learn! And, thanks to one of my maker mentors, I know how to strip the resin off and start over! (I will share that if y’all are interested)
