Knit-Picky & Hooked LOTS of Yarn, Project bags, Crochet hooks and Knitting supplies. I am a growing yarn shop inside of a fabric shop called Lake Erie Mercantile.

Connie the owner was sweet to let me purchase the yarn and make it my own business along side hers. I am officially Knit-Picky & Hooked as of October 1st, 2021. Come and see how the yarn has grown and is still growing. My name is Laura Benes. I live just down the road from the shop. I have an amazing husband that encouraged me to pursue my love of yarn and making. I also have 2 beautiful children.

My eldest is Jaelynn who is 12 and my son Daxton who is 7. They make an appearance every now and again in the shop. So I’m sure you will see them at some point or another on one of your visits. Come hang out during our open help days every Wed, Thur for $5.00 till 7pm. The small fee helps me with overhead cost. This also includes any help you may come across with your project while you are here. Please feel free to call the shop with any questions you may have. Join me, Missy Cushman from This Craft or That, and Laura Benes from Knit-Picky & Hooked for a hands-on class on how to dye a gradient sock blank where you'll create your very own hand-dyed gradient sock blank!

Both yarn options are 75% Superwash Merino / 25% Nylon, making them perfect for socks and other beautiful projects.
