When we think of coffee houses, we think of the big chain cafes. Back when cafes came about, the Penny Universities or Coffee Houses were known as a place to come together and exchange knowledge. From the knowledge hungry, such as students and professors, to the artistic, such as poets, musicians, and painters (even maybe the occasional criminal) were brought together to share thoughts and ideas. Coffee has always brought all minds together, to stop and take time to just exist with one another. I’ve always been drawn to this period of time when things were not so quick paced and we just had time.

So my dream, I’m realizing, is a lot of work but it is coming together and will be opening beginning this fall. Nocturnal Penny University-- We are excited to be able to welcome you! Stay tuned for all of the updates.

It’s been a fantastic run for everyone here at Susie’s, however, I will be retiring and Susie’s will be closing on Saturday, April 3. Retirement is one reason why Susie’s closing, but COVID is the main reason.

If you have any gift cards with balances, PLEASE use them.
We will NOT BE REFILLING ANY TINS! ALL SALES WILL BE BAGS ONLY!

Everything in the store is for sale unless otherwise tagged.

Store hours will remain the same this weekend
3-19&20. Extended hours will be posted soon.

Once a flavor runs out, that will be the end of
that particular flavor.

I will honor any bridal/baby or wedding orders which are on the books.

Susie's has been popping for your favorite popcorn flavors fresh for the Holiday weekend! Our popcorn flavors will be posted here on fb, our website, & at our shop.

***Due to State regulations, we are UNABLE to refill any of our popcorn tins at this time.*** We are offering BAGS ONLY for sale, no tins.

Our shop hours for this weekend and until further notice will be: Friday and Saturday 11-3p both days.

Here's how to place your order of the BEST POPCORN EVER!...............

Please call our shop number (734.682.3526) leave a message with your Name, & Phone #, your order and the day/time you will pick up your order.

Susie's will return your call, verify your order and take your CC payment. At time of pick up, you will call Susie's, let us know you are here & tell us your make & color of your vehicle. You may park in front of the shop or in the larger parking lot next to the shop. Your order will be brought out to you in a sealed bag, or box.
