It's been a while but I finally have a new kitchen and did my first etching since closing. Almost two dozen of these whiskey glasses will be donated to help our local cub scout pack in their third annual pintwood derby event tomorrow.

I still won't be open just yet as I currently have a full time job teaching, full time parenting my two nearly teenagers, my regular volunteer work as well as work as one of my town's councilwoman since last November. Hopefully someday soon I can find the time to do glassware again and make gifts for you all again.

When your very first best friend messages you and asks if you can make her anniversary gift for her husband of 25 years, you make it happen even if you don't actually have any counter space because you're still dealing with a ruined kitchen!!

This woman saved my life by just being kind. After years of bullying she was the first person I met in middle school. She had the friendliest smile and instantly just took me in and made me a part of her friends group. I won't ever forget her.

One of my favorite things as part of my business is giving back to my community. Tonight we attend my son's Blue and Gold celebration for Cub Scouts and a pair of these glasses will be part of our raffle.

This weekend I received an early Christmas gift from my little elves in the form of the stomach bug. So unfortunately I will attempt to finish the current orders for Christmas but I cannot guarantee it'll make it in time.

It's that time of year... Long nights working on orders! I moved my monitor set up back to the basement for a more efficient workflow.

Not to mention the need for background movie playing while I work. Anyone want to take a guess as to what movie I'm watching this time?
