I may only be able to sit 20-30 minutes at a stretch to work due to recovering from back surgery, but I make the most of my time. These N scale 3D printed vehicles from IGmakes have been painted over the last three days. The ambulances will get Red Cross markings via decals...maybe tomorrow?!

I'm home from successful back surgery performed by Dr. Zdeblick at Upland Hills Hospital in Dodgeville. I was able to walk relatively pain free hours after the surgery. The store will remain closed until at least mid August, if not a week later. Doctor's orders...as well as not being able to drive until then. The big kicker is that I'm not supposed to sit more than 20-30 minutes at a stretch and that will put a monkey wrench my modeling as it will be tough to accomplish much in those time frames. But we'll keep trying. It's good to be home where I can sleep in my own bed in a quiet house. Hospitals are no place to try to get some rest!

The Hobby Depot is closed until further notice. I'm having back surgery on July 27th and I don't know how long the recovery process will take. I'll try to keep everyone updated here on Facebook.

Today's trip to the paintbooth found Walthers N scale Medusa Cement kit being put in color. Walthers kits with tanks or silos just don't go together all that well without a lot of filing/puttying of the seams to make a decent model.

Never one to remain idle, I've painted these vehicles over the last few days. The large group is made by IGmakes and the skidloader and grapple crane group is done by Baldylox. All are beautiful 3D prints that are beautiful.
