🇺🇲Vietnam War Stories: Veterans Day 2022: Honoring the Heroes We Lost: Kenneth Lee Hargrave of Texas

Today we honor Staff Sergeant Kenneth Lee Hargrave, of Dayton Texas, who served with MACV, Advisory Team 51. Kenneth was fatally wounded on February 15, 1967 in the Chuong Thien province South Vietnam. He was 25 years old.

Staff Sergeant Hargrave was awarded the Silver Star, Bronze Star for Valor and the Bronze Star Medal for Merit for his exemplary courage under fire while serving with MACV as an advisor. Kenneth is honored on the Vietnam Veteran's Memorial in Washington DC on Panel 15E Line 33. Kenneth lies in rest at Fort Sill Post Cemetery in Oklahoma. Lest We Forget.

Today we remember Staff Sgt. Paul A. Sweeney killed in action on this day in 2003. SSG Sweeney was assigned to Company A, 3rd Battalion, 3rd Special Forces Group-Airborne.
