I'm overwhelmed with joy and beyond thrilled! I've been encouraged to enter my bags into competitions and decided to take the leap this year. I entered the Pendleton Leather Show with the bag I recently released a pattern for. My goal was to gain valuable feedback from the judges. I entered in the open bag class, designed for makers with over five years of experience, and won first-place – an amazing achievement in my first-ever show entry. I am deeply grateful to those who have supported my leathercraft journey, motivated me to enter, made this opportunity possible despite my inability to attend in person, and provided unwavering support to the leathercraft community. A special shout out is due to Maker's Leather Supply for their high-quality products, customer service, as well as their tireless support, engagement, and passion for the leather community and helping maker's make.

This matching trio, made from beautiful, waxy cognac leather, consists of a traveler's journal, small travel bag, and wristlet clutch. The rich pull-up effect is especially noticeable on the small travel bag. The traveler's journal and small travel bag have been consistently popular among customers and remain favored items. In the background, I have been working on refining construction methods and investing in new equipment that will enhance the appearance and longevity. I am looking forward to implementing these changes, which will only elevate the quality and durability even more so.

This is a PDF download only, there is no physical item included/shipped. Due to the high demand for the pattern, only the PDF is being released at this time. A video tutorial will be available in the future, increasing the cost of the pattern. This pattern does not include detailed instructions, as a video tutorial will be available in the future. The response to this bag has been overwhelmingly positive from customers and leatherworkers alike. Most of the bags I create are based on original patterns that I design myself. After receiving numerous requests for the pattern, I partnered with a talented individual who translated my design into a PDF format, allowing others to make this bag. This experience has been humbling, giving me a deeper appreciation for the art of pattern making and the work that goes into it. The pattern is expected to be available soon.
This bag is made with a beautiful brown SB Foot oil tan leather with black accents, featuring a PNW wool accent panel, black buckstitching, and antique brass hardware. The bag's interior is lined with beige waterproof canvas and includes leather slip pockets, zipper pocket with a leather overlay, and a crossbody strap with matching leather accents. SB Foot leather used by Red Wing boots and is also used widely by leatherworkers.

Here's another before & after. I received a request from a local individual to repair the stitching on a vintage camera case. The case held sentimental value, and the goal was to just restore its structural integrity. After removing the old thread, which proved to be the most time-consuming aspect, I was able to re-stitch the case. The finished result looks amazing, and it is truly fulfilling to be able to help with things like this.
