We decided to re profile the top plate thickness for this Rubner Michael Glass #5. Thinned the extra stout top and moved the bass bar more to the outside. Now the G string sounds fuller, and the whole bass moves more air with more pizz. punch.

We have a new Eastman bass with carved top and back with laminated maple sides. Sounds great and perfect for gigs on the frozen tundra.

We have some great new basses from the Rubner workshop in Markneukirchen. A big sounding #66 in poplar, a Michael Glass #20 as well as #30, a Rubner #62 and a very punchy sounding Walther with a blonde finish.
