Inventor History: Joseph Charles Dunmore Sr.
Born in Chicago IL. He resided at 2139 West Adams Street in Chicago, IL. and at 9647 South Sangamon Street in Chicago IL., until 2005.
Mr. Dunmore attended Fernwood School 10100 South Union Ave. in Chicago
and Harlan High School at 9600 South Michigan Ave. until 1968. He served in
US Marine Corp 1968, Midwest Broadcasting School in Downtown Chicago 1971-74.
Joe Dunmore was the first to DJ outside at Rainbow Beach in Chicago from his old
Ford van with the name Killer Joe written on both sides for two whole summers (1973-74).
He is known as the Real DJ Killer Joe. He has the big sound of JBL’s at 6000 watts of RMS Phase
Linear power amps, and Crest Power Amps with a tri-amp speaker system by JBL. Joe did DJ work for
free in some cases because he loved people to enjoy themselves in music.
He was Night-Club DJ at EL Matador Lounge in Chicago on 75th Street where the 50 Yard Night
Club is today for many years. For 12 years under the late Bill Simmons and brother Earl
Simmons at the Busy Bee Lounge on 75th Street & Langley, Enterprise Lounge 75th Street, Greenville Mississippi Club, Green Bunny on 77th & Halsted, Saber Room on 95th in Hickory Il,

Many history makers like Joe Williams, Lou Rawls, and Della Reese, Sonny Sitt, Eddie Harris, Gene Ammons, Oscar Brown Jr. and many more great artists in the music business would visit Pop's Garage. Joe worked with such DJ greats as Butterball, Excel Cooper, Stanley Brown, Clydell, Joe Lee, Late Joseph (Kocomo Joe) Tribbett, Henry (The Real Sugar Bear) Spruill, Larry (Silver Spoon) Soul, DJ Frenchie a friend at the El Matador Club, Big Dwayne (Will Power) William, Dunmore brother, Big Beverly Dorsey the first big lady DJ of the Night Club Motown on 75th in Chicago IL. and his Late Wife Cheryl A Dunmore for a great true supporter base to his Dee-Jay years full success.
Now a Professional Music Promoter Joe was at, ARS Recording Studio's with Gray Cobbs in Alsip IL. Gray the audio engineer almost dropped dead when he heard recording artist Chellena Black Harris' vocal range over the mike. He looked back at Joe and said, "I've got to gate her some more". "I don'thave enough gate/ compression for her vocals, man she’s
great". Chellena was seen on TV show America’s Got Talent for 2008. She will forever be his #1 female artist. She was a true dream and joy to work with in the studio. As we even try to get a recording deal at Sony in New York city for Ms. Toi Green AR director at that time. Joe has written more than 150 songs with BMI Credits. He has also written songs for the American Idol Underground website. Joe was awarded the 1980 DJ Battles at Ford Motor Company Union Hall against such DJ greats as Larry Brewer (Mr. Bee), Slick Smitty DJ and a host of other great DJs. Well he won first place in the contest with Sound Masters Inc. with a record called Disco Circus by Martin Circus from England. Joe decided to change as he suffer the lost of his father Eddie B Dunmore Sr. and son 3 months later Joseph Dunmore Jr. on October 22, 1982 while was at work at Ford Motor Co. now leading to his christian roots of life. He stop being a lounge Dee-Jay now seek a new way at 33 years old and confess being changed In Jesus Name.
Joe was the Sound Audio System Installer & Engineer trainer for Morgan Park Apostolic Church under the Late Bishop Robert Baggett. He was the first Sound System Engineer and designer for Apostolic Church of God on 63rd & Kimbark, with Late Bishop Dr. Arthur M. Brazier. Joe point of his work Church is better with a sound system that helps people enjoy the service of God and to give Him the Praise. With that thought in mind that is how he got the job along with his Late Son Joseph C. Dunmore Jr. and a crew of 5 great men.
Joe was a VJ / Producer on WYBA Radio Show (Time for Encouragement with Rev Carl Lyke) on Saturday Morning Gospel Show. Joe Dunmore CEO of Dunmore Music/Studio 25 with CCO brother Late Eddie B.Dunmore Jr. operated for 16 years at 231 Main Street in Downtown Park Forest IL.
Joe also is a great songwriter, vocal arranger and coach for Dunmore Music. He wrote most of the songs on this site. As a member of BMI for 29 years and with Leydig Voit,& Mayer LTD., of One Prudential Plaza Chicago IL 60601 with top Atty. Jeffery Burgan (one his best friends in the music and copyrights business) Joe and Eddie were able to develop an enterprising business.
Joe is a Billboard Winner Recognition Song Writer (Just Release Me- Set Me Free 2004 with the great artist Debra Jackson) Grammy Award Member for 6 years in a NARS membership.
He's still on the battlefield for his Family by the Blessings In Jesus Name with Great Faith and In His Life of Love for Family and Friends. His true support base, now Loving Wife Priscilla Dunmore, great brother William K Dunmore encouragement, 2 outstanding sons that kept Joe charge up for even more Brian K. Bolton on drums, MPC and keys, John O. Bolton Jr. on keys, MPC and arrangements., top music producers-- as Joe was mentor for Berris Bolton on live drums and keys as his right hand man that really learned the studio well, Eddie Newman Jr. on live drums and keys Mr. dependable who Joe wrote many songs with over the years in the studio, Richard Goldsby on keys and MPC laid down new ideas with Joe for the great jazz singer Brenda Frey now, Terry Richmond on Guitar the leader of the pack as Joe band music director for the Fire Band and computer keys on guitar, and Danny Wilson he was the man Joe enjoyed him in the studio he landed the song Shadow of Love with Late JJ Jackson and Danny MPC as it was written by Joe Dunmore.
