Good Afternoon. I have always referred to this Shop as The Tattered Shoe Antique Shop. The actual name is The Tattered Shoe Antique "N" Things. That is because we carry things other than antiques. This falls under things.. These are all men's shorts. There are plaids, solid colors, utility, golf. You name it. They are ALL name brand, several with new tags attached. The tags range from 40.00 - 60.00 a pair. These are all 42" waist. So if your guy boats, golf's, likes to bbq for family and friends, or even just needs shorts to run around in you must check these out. Ones with tags still on 15.00. Others maybe worn only once then laundered or never worn but laundered 12.00. Stop in The Tattered Shoe Antique N Things Shop 1518-15th Street Moline next to G's Gourmet Popcorn. Hours are Tues-Sat 10:30-4:30.

Good afternoon. It has been quite awhile since I posted. Hopefully everyone had a safe Memorial Day. I hope everyone took a moment to reflect on the brave men and women in the armed forces who sacrificed with their lives.

Are you a fan of local artist Michael Bl**er. He is a wonderful artist that paints alot of river pictures with stearmboats. That isn't all he paints but the 3 pictures i have depicts the river and boats. I am sorry i can not get a better picture of his works. I had the pleasure of talking to him, such a nice person. Local Artist Paul Norton 1909-1984 watercolor titled Bits of Milan History. This was a limited edition of 100 printed and this was the second one made with this plate. This is hand signed, and dated 2/21/84. Sadly he passed away Sept. 1984. He had prints in the White House, US Capitol, and IA Governors Mansion. This print is in excellent condition and ready to be framed for your home, office, or business. Size of print is 23" L and 18"W.

This morning got off to a promising start when I stopped by Amerifile Tax Preparation, where QC Paws and Kings Harvest were hosting an adoption event that was overflowing with adorable animals. It was great to see Dani from WLLR spreading the word about the event on the radio, and I was impressed by her kindness, just as I remembered it from 25-30 years ago. Here are some photos from the event - let's hope these wonderful pets find their forever homes and don't have to return to the shelter.

Looking for wall decor for maybe your bar, man cave, or just your private little nook? check these out. These are all original from the 50's & 60's "lobby cards" except the Joe Lewis.
