Starting at 12:00 PM (EST), today, the US House of Representatives will debate and vote on rules for HR 2339, which would, among other things, ban the sale of v***r products in flavors other than to***co. Depending on the rules adopted today, the House will likely vote on the bill this afternoon or on Friday (tomorrow).
Between now and noon, please take a moment to call your representative and urge them to VOTE NO on HR 2339.

HR 2339 would do the following:
Ban the sales of flavored va**ng products other than to***co flavor. This ban would take effect 30 days following enactment of the bill.
In order for manufacturers to bring flavors other than to***co back on to the market, companies would need to prove that these flavors significantly increase the likelihood of smoking cessation. Note that this is already an option for companies that want to market their products as a therapy and can afford the market approval process for drugs/devices. (Despite the dismissive way that many va**ng opponents are talking about this option (i.e. "if v***r products actually help people quit smoking, then companies should have no problem getting them approved as a drug/device by the FDA."), the fact is that gaining approval to market a product as a therapy is even more burdensome than gaining approval as a recreational to***co product.)
Ban online and other non-face-to-face sales.
Marketing/Advertising of v***r products would be regulated the same as marketing/advertising for ci******es.
Includes synthetic ni****ne (not derived from to***co) in FDA's to***co regulation authorities
Increase FDA Center for To***co Products User Fees to $812,000,000
