Have you seen the great news?! We raised $140,000! Thank you to every volunteer, board member, and patrons that made this possible. We were able to donate $50,000 to AAUW and $50,000 to The Berks County Public Library System!

This sale has been such a huge hit because of people like you! From donations to time spent sorting, there have been volunteers that truly love what they're doing. We love getting to set up the sale and hear about all of your amazing finds. Thank you for making this sale bigger and better every year!

The wildly successful five-day book sale raised $140,000, marking the highest-grossing sale in Berks Book Bonanza’s history.

I wanted to share a BIG thank you to our amazing volunteers and board members!❤️ These are the fantastic people you see running around during the sale making sure everyone is finding their next favorite read, their next audiobook, their new favorite cd/record, or even their next puzzle/game. These volunteers work from September of the previous year all the way to then end of July! They sort, they setup, and they work all aspects of the sale.
These volunteers and board members work tirelessly to make the sale better and better every single year. They have a love and passion for this sale and it most certainly shines through.

You know you’re working hard when a nice young Amish man makes it a point to tell you how hard you’re working. That was one of the best compliments!😉

Thank you to our patrons.🫶🏻 You make volunteering for the sale worth it! We truly love our readers. We love seeing how excited everyone gets when searching through the thousands of items. We love hearing our patrons talk about all their new favorite books, cds, puzzles, games, etc. There’s truly a little bit of everything here!

Today is our bag sale!!🥳 Don’t forget to watch the video on our profile regarding how to use a tote bag for the sale.

How does the bag sale work?
1. Buy a brown paper bag from one of our fabulous volunteers for $5
2. Fill the bag with your amazing finds!

It is suggested to bring a sturdy tote to help support the paper bag. Books are heavy and the paper bags are flimsy. *BOOKS NEED TO BE IN THE PAPER BAG, THEY CANNOT BE BETWEEN THE PAPER BAG AND THE TOTE* If there are books slipping out of the paper bag, you will be asked to purchase another bag.

*Information for our bag sale on Sunday 7/12*

How it works:
1.You buy a brown paper grocery bag from one of our fabulous volunteers
2. Fill it to the brim with books!

*It is advised that you bring a tote to put your paper bag in as they do rip easily*

**Please do NOT put the books between the paper bag and the tote. Books have to be in the paper bag otherwise you may be asked to purchase another bag.**

Please be mindful when parking!
There is no parking allowed on the grass. We do have the signs as a reminder. We are guest at the Berks South Campus, we need to be respectful of their space and their well maintained lawns! Thank you😁
