Hello all, Mike here.
I just wanted to let everyone know that we miss all of you, especially all of the kiddos who would stop in and brighten ours and our children's days.
Moving on from the store was a tough decision and has been hard for our family, especially for Alex. After all she put into the store, it has been challenging for her to find another outlet to help fuel her passion for helping others.
On top of all the stress from closing the store and trying to create a new structure in our home, recently she has been having some health complications as well. Just this week we have been in and out of 2 separate urgent cares, seen specialists, spent the night in the ER, and has been scheduled for a pain management doctor to try and give her some sense of normalcy.
While I know she's not ready to give up all she does for those in need, I believe right now is a time that she is in need of a little bit of the love that she so thoughtlessly shares with others. I'm asking all of our friends that we have made throughout our journey to send some love her way and maybe share here a special memory that you have from our time at the store.
Thank you to everyone who takes the time to read this, and to all who may show up here to offer her the love and support she could use.
I know we always used to say thank you for helping us help others, but I want to thank everyone now for helping me help Alex.
Mike
