The shelves are packed with handmade jams, local honey, baked goods, and small finds that feel anything but ordinary.

We got snow....so much that even Michigan Tech closed. We're stuck at home. And there's a video of Bruce blowing snow in the comments. Happy snow day.

We went snowshoeing today. The sticks showing up through the snow are thimbleberry plants just waiting for spring.

Bruce and I were outside moving snow. It's up to a balmy -8 deg F. I push snow. He takes care of the animals and then finishes up with the blower.

Just finished moving snow and ready for a breakfast of wild Keweenaw blueberry pancakes topped with our strawberries and raspberry syrup. Life is good. (Bruce is feeding the alpacas, goats, bunnies and chickens and then finishing the snow moving after the plow comes by.) 🥶😍
