I know it's been a couple months since I've posted. I've been busy with some other life aspects but will be returning back to the shop very soon! 3 guitars in paint so it will be time to finish builds and post pics in the near future!

Buckled down the last two days and finally got my motivation back to continue the 8 string. Fretboard is radiused to 20"...

Buckled down the last two days and finally got my motivation back to continue the 8 string. Fretboard is radiused to 20". Not without some new bumps in the road, but at least I can blame that on a faulty router bit this time around.. big brother 8 in the background supervising. :)

Sides all sanded smooth, round over finished on the 8 string. Back to sanding again!

Thin super glue bled into the grain of the fretboard when I was filling the sides with dust after pressing the frets in....

Thin super glue bled into the grain of the fretboard when I was filling the sides with dust after pressing the frets in. That was a task and a half to sand it all out after the frets were installed. Note to self; medium super glue from now on. First coats of grain filler are on this 7 string now. Almost ready for paint finally!

Sanded off all the glue, sanded down the sides and got this fretboard and neck in perfect alignment. You can't feel the difference between the two as it transitions from fretboard into neck.

Time to get this 7 out of clamps!
