Andy's Music is a locally owned and operated family business in Mobile, Alabama, and began operations in April, 1977. We are the only full-line musical instrument store in Mobile offering lessons, rentals, instrument repair, and a complete music department. Since 2011, Andy's Music has been chosen five times as a Top 100 Dealer by NAMM (National Assoc. Music Merchants), and has also been voted as

Mobile's favorite music store in the Mobile Register's Readers Choice Awards since its inception in 2002. Andy's Music is also a member of the Alliance of Independent Music Merchants (AIMM). The AIMM Group is an alliance of leading musical instrument retailers who provide value to their customers by focusing on quality products, educational programs, and exceptional customer service.

What an incredible weekend!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us this past Saturday for the 2026 Andy's Music Summer Symposium.

We want to send a special shoutout to our fantastic hosts at Vancleave High School for their hospitality and for providing such a welcoming space, Stanbury Uniforms for the snacks and greeting table, and Pig Out BBQ for delicious food during our local lunch break. We are grateful for our presenters who shared their time and expertise, and to all the awesome folks who came out to learn, connect, and grow with us.

Music education builds community, fosters creativity, and truly changes lives. It is dedicated directors like YOU who make that magic happen for students every single day. We look forward to providing future sessions designed for the needs of local directors.

We had a really cool vintage 1960s Artley flute come through our doors, and yes, it still has its original box! Back in the day, Artley was proudly building these instruments in Elkhart, Indiana, soundtracking countless school bands and ensembles nationwide. Seeing one so beautifully preserved feels like opening a genuine woodwind time capsule. ⌛🪈
