For those of you that didn't see my daughter's post here it is...
I've been diagnosed with Small Cell Lung Cancer. There is a medium to large mass in my right lung which affects a lympnode. It is also pressing on my bronchial tube. Also the bottom right half of my right lung is collapsed. All this has effected my breathing, heart, brain, breathing and of course my lungs. I cough constantly, I'm slowly losing my voice, my memory has been affected and my heart is working overtime to try and get blood and oxygen to my brain. On the 6th I will be getting a port near my clavicle because I have very bad veins. On the 7yh I start Chemo & Radiation both for 33 days every day. We have to travel 38 miles 1 way every day, which is gonna cost us an arm and a leg. The side effects are numerous but the main one that just breaks my heart is losing all my hair.
