First ride on the kids e bike with 24” wheels. It rips with such little weight on it! Opened up a whole new ride we’ve tried before on muscle bikes, but it was just too much for little 7 year old legs. Fun tool for extending the ride/climb with the planets best young riding buddies!

This trail is called Sidewinder. Park in the pull off on the highway just north of the Arches entrance. Climb the bike path toward the Brands trails. Tons of trail options, this is just the easier one to descend. We still walked some sections, which is always fine to do. If you’re looking for the next kid ride in Moab, this may be a good option. 45 minutes round trip. Doing a couple laps would be really fun so the kiddos could get familiar with the trail, and the bike.

3 different levels of power from E bikes in Moab today.

is his own powerhouse on the Druid muscle bike.

on the mid power (or e-minus as Kyle puts it) Canyon with TQ 50 motor.

on the full power E Druid with Avinox motor.

E bikes on these iconic trails, Jackson and Ahab, in a mixed group of riders and bikes, was a whole new level of fun.

Assist on the uphill aside, the ride quality of the new e bikes is so good that many actually prefer the feel of the e bikes on the descents. They are planted, predictable, and help with momentum in tech, without pedaling. They don’t feel cumbersome or heavy. They are truly a pleasure to ride in all scenarios.

Added bonus, when you’re riding with world class athletes, it’s so fun to keep pace! The group dynamics of the ride are improved in every aspect.

We are so pleased e bikes are allowed in Moab. We ride for fun. That’s it. And today was top shelf fun. We’ve ridden these trails hundreds of times, and today was a whole new experience.

Moab is truly unlocked!

We left the sound raw on this one for some fun bike punishing sounds from the red rock wonderland.
