oh my gosh yall, cannot believe it’s been over four months since i have been active on this account. especially for how much grueling time i spent active on this account 😅 i just haven’t had words, i still don’t, really but i know it’s time to find them.
the best news, and the reason why our presence has been ghostly; i had a baby! and as such - i find little left in between the feral nature of survival and play.
it’s been a true honor to serve this community through Adobe Garden. i’m still in awe of the evolutionary life force that moved through it - always growing, shifting, and adapting as it danced through both hurdles and highs. always interwoven with the fibers of you and me, a reflection of shared communal rhythm.
Adobe Garden found its way into the most intimate corners of your lives; nestled in cozy kitchen cabinets and dark nooks, resting beside bathtub edges and warming your hands through ceramic mugs. it lived between the blade of your bread knife and the cradle of your dutch oven as you brought your sourdough loaves back to life. through poems and songs floating through the courtyard air, local artists adorning the yard with wears created from their hands and their vision, a physical headquarter where grass-root qu**rs gather in action. it truly lived and i hope such sacredness will continue to live on through its memory.
these are the best places to exist. thank you for welcoming us into them. and look out for it’s rebirth - in a more sustainable and economically feasible form. it will shapeshift back, i know this to be true. creativity, community + refuge does not intersect death.
but as magical it world it was, it came at a cost and the indebtedness can help be lifted with you wandering through our space once more and bringing home these last little pieces of its past.
we will be having a liquidation sale this weekend! come pick through the cobwebbed treasures that lived snugly on our shelves, the equipment that harbored artisanal ingredients and sun dried local produce, hundreds of jars that are waiting to taste new flavors. everything must go, and see what else is in store for them.
