I'm thrilled to have completed this project by Christmas, and it turned out amazing! Despite losing daylight during the photo shoot, the results are still impressive. This 440C stainless steel blade with snakewood handles is perfect for processing big game or handling tasks around hunting camp, with a nice long 4-inch blade. It's headed to Tennessee by way of Florida. I'm grateful to Q Jewelry for their swift and excellent engraving services and Mustache Mafia Leatherworks for the beautiful sheath (and Mom and Dad for picking up the knife and sheath when it was done!)😎 Merry Christmas everyone!!

Fresh off the bench — two custom blades just finished up. Both are headed first to Mustache Mafia Leatherworks for their own custom sheaths, and then on to put in work in the rugged Black Hills of South Dakota.

The one on the left is 1095 steel with desert ironwood handles and black G10 bolsters. The one on the right is 1084 steel with Ultrex Suretouch handles and black G10 bolsters.

I love seeing these go from raw steel to finished tools, knowing they’ll be carried, used, and trusted out in the wild. That’s what it’s all about.

This little beast means business. 🗡️
3¼" of razor-sharp 1084 high-carbon steel, paired with a tough black/red G10 handle that laughs at bad weather. Just 7¾" overall, so it’s ready for camp, trail, or everyday carry.
And yes… it’s that sharp. (My thumb can confirm. 😅)

This one’s ready for tater peelin’! Ironwood handles with Forest Green G10 bolster, black G10 pins, and 440C stainless steel blade with protective kydex sheath. This paring knife’s forever home will be in a camper in the eastern part of the U.S. Happy peelin’!!

This is the last in the recent series of drop point hunters. Beautiful Ironwood handles on this one with semi hidden brown G10 pins. Now, on to some paring knives in 440c stainless steel, which is a new steel to me to heat treat. Should be interesting!

Experimenting with a new handle material called UltreX SureTouch. Layered G10 and rubber. Pain to work with, but makes a really pretty and grippy knife handle!

Shouldn’t have any problems finding this when you drop it in the field!

Well its been a while since I've gotten any knives out. The last six months of 2024 just were not compatible for knife making! BUT, we are back in the saddle and crankin' out some knives.
