Come one, come all to the University of Montana's Circus Club fundraising & organizing campaign kickoff party tonight!
We've been organizing to re-structure our club to better match the needs of our own members and the wider community to focus on creating a fully accessible environment of support and inclusivity, via circus arts! (Aka Social Circus).
But we need YOU to make it all happen before this Friday's ASUM deadline, so we can run everything lined up for the summer season and start off Fall semester bigger and better than ever!
So show up to the kickoff party tonight to enjoy various circus activities/apparatuses and jam out (firepit and flow starting later), grab some free grub, and learn how you can sign-up to help us make this week's fundraising campaign a success!
Also, be sure to vote in UMCC's *Circus Spending Spree* shopping list poll, so we can use up our budget this week toward what participating members want to prioritize for this Summer and coming Fall! We'll be taking votes on other preliminary decision-making needs for the coming year as well.
๏ปฟ(Early birds who come in-person get a shot at these opportunities before the public links go live ๐)
Tonight's event is from 8pm-10pm at Haustoria House (1114 Vine St. - if parking on Vine just come through to the backyard and workshop space!)
Spread the word and stop by if you can!
And yes, we know this is last-minute, but that's why we're rushing to fill spots on our Circus Council and fill our sign-ups for volunteer needs throughout this week!
So we're having a party, jamming, and ensuring we do our best to make your voice heard, spend our budget before the deadline, and get folx signed-up to volunteer to make this week of fundraising & organizing events (leading up to a very special PRIDE event) a rousing success!
Thus we also want to give a huge shout-out to our newest Circus Council member and "announcer" (PR) Morgan Davis for making this all possible! - be sure to check out the brand-new mission statement* they've been working on to better capture what our organization is all about!
(One of the many things we'll be gathering feedback on during tonight's event and throughout the week).

*UMCC dives into the world of circus as not just an art form, but a culture, and invites people from every background to learn!
We offer knowledge-in-practice about circus arts as well as social circus services and community support, a place to train, learn skills, and engage in individual-and-community performance, space for physical design and craft workshopping, and an agenda to collaborate and build community through circus with focus on YOUR local passions and needs!
