From the mountains of Nuevo Leon to your dining table Nietos de Iturbide Marinade helps you prepare an “asado de boda”. A family recipe has literally survived revolutions, wars, and thousands of miles on its journey to your kitchen.
Our Grandma was born in McAllen Texas. She visited her parent’s Mexican hometown during a family wedding where she was served “asado de boda”. Her sister-in-law gave her the family recipe through towns generations using the region's natural ingredients. Even after the town was decimated during the United States Mexican War and the Mexican Revolution, the recipe survived. When it came time to prepare it for family’s wedding, our grandma recollected the American cuisine she grew up with and carefully modified the recipe to create Nietos de Iturbide Marinade ‘asado de boda’.
