It may be a bit before I can get back to some fun sewing. The hubs is helping me to get my sewing room back to its original plan. We are on a deadline because he will be having surgery on the 23rd.
I was able to sneak out and get these fabrics! I have wanted to make a quilt for as long as I can remember! The blues, tan, gold will be what I have so far for my quilt!
The Paris themed fabric? Well, I just thought it was to cute not to get!

A little about myself. I have lived my whole life in Northern Indiana. I have 2 daughters my oldest will be returning to college this fall, and my youngest daughter graduated from high school this year and will be heading off to college in the fall. We have a very sweet 16yr old beagle named Sheffield. His main goal in life are naps, belly rubs, and to follow me wherever I go.
My mom taught me to sew when I was just a little girl. I would sew occasionally. Then when my girls were little I thought about making a dress for my daughters kindergarten graduation, well I haven't stopped sewing since then.
I love sewing and how relaxing it can be. And I love making things for others that they can use and enjoy!

If you were following me when I was sewing a few years ago, you have noticed that I am not posting as frequently as I used to.
Our fur baby Sheffield is 16 1/2 years old. He is a great dog! But with age comes some changes, he's a little slower, his eye sight is not as good and he struggles with going up the stairs. And since my sewing area is in the basement and over the summer my daughters are working. If I go downstairs he wants to follow me, and if he has to go outside I cannot carry him up the stairs. So I will be heading downstairs to sew when it's closer for them to be home and on Sunday - through Tuesday when my husband is home.
