RAD Hobbies is a small, e-commerce shop based in the Charlotte, NC area. Our inventory changes frequently and we can ship to the lower 48 United States!

We specialize in 80s/90s/2000s (and up) RC vehicles... plus gaming, collectibles, and memorabilia. Welcome to RAD Hobbies & RC! We started this business as hobbyists as it's a hobby we have enjoyed on and off for nearly 35 years. If we do find a good deal on new stock, we will pass it along to you, however, most will fall under the previously mentioned Vintage category. 🌟 Card Spotlight 🌟 - Went to our first card show today! Sure, it was 90% Pokémon, but we were able to find some sports card vendors and we grabbed a few...

The DeAngelo Williams is /49 and features a patch and autograph. The Steve Smith features a patch and is /50. The Ladd McConkey is a Gold Foil /15 (and I'm a sucker for the Immaculate cards).

🌟 Card Spotlight 🌟 - OK, random card alert. But my step-son pulled this from a Donruss box and i had to have it. I grew up listening to this man on seemingly every college basketball game and March Madness tournament ever.

Dickie V, Stars and numbered /150 is now in my PC. Never knew I needed this card, but here we are!

🌟 Card Spotlight 🌟 - World Cup fever is about to break out!!

The Panini World Cup Sticker books are all the rage whenever the tournament hits, and this year is no exception. The biggest difference from 2022 to now is that it seems waaay more people are into it this year, so the packs are much harder to find.

🌟 Card Spotlight 🌟 - How about some Panini Black?

It's not much of a secret that I am a Ladd McConkey fan. Probably b/c of watching my dad watch his dad Phil on the NY Giants in the 80s. We found this jumbo patch while traveling for one of the kid's soccer teams and i couldn't resist. The only thing better than a relic is a jumbo relic!

🌟 Card Spotlight 🌟 - So, I have been reading about the Monopoly game featuring the Panini Prizm cards, and that they were sold at Dollar Tree for $6-$10 (our store was at $10) and that they had some decent cards.

I'm not a big basketball fan, but i do like the Monopoly cards, so I figured I'd buy a couple boxes to see what the deal was. Each box came with 2 Monopoly Prizm packs (4 cards each pack, 8 cards total). The box says 6 White Cracked Ice cards in every box. I ended up getting those 6 per box (so 12 total), plus 4 orange cards (2 per box) numbered to 1499.

Overall, not too bad. Some decent value in there! Photos highlight the better cards I ripped.

🌟 Card Spotlight 🌟 - Our weekends are filled with soccer about 10 months of the year. The good part is that it takes us to different areas which exposes us to new card shops. Ended up visiting a couple of shops around Goldsboro, NC and grabbed a few numbered and patch cards.

This time, a sealed Sapphire 14/15 Michael Vick. There were running QBs before him, but he changed the game. He was always exciting to watch, and even after he came back from his jail sentence, he was still electric on the field.

🌟 Card Spotlight 🌟 - One of my favorite tight ends to play the game. And honestly, probably one of the top 5 TEs ever.

I also have a soft spot for these Flawless cards, so I grabbed 2. Now you can pick from the Diamond (15/15) bookend, or the Sapphire (8/20). Hey, Diamonds can be a man's best friend too!! 😆
