✨First Show of the Year!✨Next weekend is the 43rd Annual Narragansett Art Festival! This long running oceanfront show features over one hundred artists. It will be my first year participating in this show, and almost a decade since I’ve done a show in Rhode Island, I can’t wait!

Another special opal project for the same client, this was one of several stones cut from a big chunk of inherited opal. The tail was carved to wrap around the bezel, creating an elegant but safely protected setting. This carving is one the most intricate that I’ve done, and while it took a lot of time and planning, it has got me really excited to do some more carving. I’ve got a few shell ideas in mind next!✨🐚✨
