We had a great time a couple weeks ago at the Total Archery Challenge in Tennessee! Didn’t get to shoot as many courses as we had hoped for but still had a great day shooting the MKC course. This was our first time at a TAC event and certainly won’t be our last! This was definitely one of the best ways to test our skills and our equipment. Lots of uneven terrain with plenty of uphill and downhill shots varying from 20yds out past 70yds. If I learned anything or reassured anything from this shoot it would be these things.

1. Wear good hiking shoes/boots
2. Stay in good physical shape
3. Don’t let the pressure get to you
4. Trust your sight level (and your bow shop to set it up accurately)
5. Trust your angle compensating rangefinder
6. Always take a backup bow/second bow, you never know if/when you’ll need it (this was the one mistake I made and it cost me a brand new sight)

Mathews Lift 29.5 set up with our custom strings and some custom side plates as well! Now to build some arrows for this rig and finish setting up and get it tuned!
