Our past week at the conference in Philadelphia was fantastic. So many great people, top-notch brands, vibrant energy, and 🔥🔥🔥 dance moves! I started Fair Anita in 2015 because I wanted to feel good about the accessories that help me express myself. Have y'all ever looked into some of these big brand factories and human rights practices? 🤢 I want to wear jewelry that stands for something -- that empowers women rather than exploits them.

The goal with Fair Anita has always been economic self-sufficiency for marginalized women, especially survivors of sexual or domestic violence. Making sure our talented artisan partners have the resources and agency to make the decisions that are best for their own lives and their communities.

We're a Minneapolis-based, q***r woman owned (👋) fair trade brand that [imperfectly] practices building an ethical, sustainable business: one that's good for people and the planet.

Living in a community currently being terrorized by ICE — and we are just supposed to keep going, keep hustling, keep pretending everything’s fine? It’s not fine… it’s really, really not.
I’m supposed to tell y’all that we have 3 tradeshows coming up, starting next week, with lovely new product from our incredible artisan partners. But all I can think about is my beloved community….
