Fellow bike nerds,

Good news. Many of you asked, and here is the answer.

Question: Will Rene Herse Rat Trap Pass 2.3 tires fit on the new XOXO.

Answer: Yes! With about 8mm clearance on each side and 9mm vertical to the crown.

Attached are photos. The actual inside measurement of the fork legs is 70mm. The first photo shows that measurement with the stock 26x1.75 Panaracer Pasela. The other photos show the clearance with a Kenda Slant 6 26x2.1. The actual outside measurement of the Slant 6 on the Velocity Dyad rim is 53.18mm. According to Rene Herse, on the same rim, the Rat Trap measures 52-53mm.

So, go ahead nerds (myself included), run your fatty Rat Traps, and enjoy!
