Meet Simon — the hands behind the flowers and the heart behind Spruce. ♡
Simon brings decades of experience in horticulture, interiorscape, and floral design, and an enduring belief that flowers have the power to bring people together.
Before taking ownership of Spruce in 2020, he spent years helping businesses transform their spaces with plants and biophilia led design — creating award winning Interior Landscapes both in London and here in the Twin Cities.
Community has always been at the center of Simon’s work. He serves as a trustee of the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum and is an active member of Twin Cities NACE, where he enjoys collaborating with local creatives on memorable weddings and events. Through Spruce, Simon and the team are also proud to partner with organizations including Women’s Foundation of Minnesota, Give Us Wings, Reclaim, Gender Justice, Daily Work, and Avenues for Youth, using flowers as a way to support and strengthen the community they call home. ✨
Beyond the blooms, you’ll likely find Simon baking up something delicious at home, or out exploring with his husband and two dogs.
