Paul Magazine, Craftzine.com blog, supernaturale.com, inhabitots.com, and newyorkmetro.com. After half a lifetime on the east coast, her craft lab is now in Minneapolis, where she lives with her husband, their twins, and Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.

My kid made a string art whaleshark at the senior overnight party! (He looked at the provided templates and decided to create his own.❤️)

I did the heavy lifting behind the arts and crafts room, wanting to create a chill space for creativity so kids could relax after, or instead of, activities including swimming or skating.

Available activities included string art, bracelet bar, coloring, origami, and temporary tattoo bar.

There were lots of memorable moments, but I wasn’t gonna make it weird by taking pictures at the senior party.

Thanks to local wood-reclaiming company for having great-quality lumber that I could repurpose for the string art bases! Thanks to Beau and Lachlan for the cutting and staining, respectively.

Ten years ago, the world lost a creative genius. I’m grateful that I got to process this incredible loss in Minneapolis. I bought the purple-est flowers and left them near his star, and returned that night to mourn and celebrate on the streets outside First Avenue.

Drove past Paisley Park the next day and saw media trucks. Went back later to tie art to the chain link fence outside.

My husband had tickets for Bob Mould in April, so we got to celebrate/dance/cry in the Main Room days later.

Ireland trip snapshots. Had a lovely trip to Connemara and Dublin over spring break. Saw some castles, ate all the seafood, drank cider and Guinness, and got to hang with my family.
