The Lambeth Coffee Table.

This table is handcrafted from Black Walnut. It features coopered and coved legs, this is my interpretation of a classic Art Deco design.

This Sideboard (Credenza) was recently finished and delivered to its forever home in St Paul. I crafted this from Quartersawn Black Walnut, and I am delighted with how the clean grain lines complement the linear lines of the case. The ends have a book match which I think is a key but subtle detail of the piece.

This was a commission based on a customer drawing. If you would like to learn more about commissioning furniture from me, please look for a video that will drop in the next few days.

Friends - please consider contacting your elected official and the Mayor to let them know that the current Quincy reconstruction plan will cause irreparable damage to the heart of our beloved arts district.

We of course need Quincy to be repaired and more accessible, but the current proposal will remove loading dock access to industrial buildings, it will make the delivery of material and the removal of finished goods impossible.

This runs the very real risk of displacing businesses that make Quincy the vibrant community that it is.

As Art-A-Whirl approaches, artists and business owners in Northeast Minneapolis are voicing concerns about a major road project on Quincy Street that could impact their future. FULL STORY: bit.ly/4uL2hkf
