Good evening, everyone. It is with a heavy heart that we make this post.
Watchtower has always prided ourselves on selling products at MSRP, preferring to get product into the hands of players and collectors first and foremost. This practice has generally kept our margins tight.
Very recently the backbone of our operation received an offer for a job opportunity that was far too good to pass up, and which we wouldn’t be able to match since doing so would require that we shift to practices seen elsewhere and selling at or closer to market prices. Between this refusal to budge on the integrity of what Watchtower was built on combined with a growth in my role in my “day job” having greatly expanded, there unfortunately isn't a way to onboard a replacement.
All of this is to say that unfortunately, this is the end of an era for Watchtower Games, and we will be closing our doors. Due to a mixture of upcoming travel plans and not wanting to draw things out; this Tuesday the 30th will be our final day of operations.
We will have deals on all of our sealed Bandai product, as well as our selection of card supplies running all day, and will still be having our Pokémon League.
Thank you all so much for just shy of 6 years of wonderful patronage. We’re thankful to have built up, and to have been a part of, so many great communities over the years, and appreciate you all more than you’ll ever know.
